The emergence of data sharing ecosystems as part of the wider digitalization process in the society indicates the important role data will play in driving future economic competitiveness and societal progress. We see a number of data ecosystems in the form of Data Spaces and Data Platforms being created and deployed nowadays for industrial and/or personal data. But how widespread are such data spaces/platforms? How can they enable large-scale data sharing? What are the organizational, legal, and technical challenges of data spaces/platforms? What solutions currently exist?

The goal of the seminar is to stimulate discussions and exchange of knowledge and experiences around these questions.
