SUCCESS STORY AWARD
Participation Eligibility
To participate, the success story must be provided by a project of the BDV PPP ecosystem. The success story should be provided before the deadline (see the evaluation process). There is no limitation in the number of success story per project, however, each success story must be clearly different. As a finalist, you should mandate someone from the BDV PPP ecosystem to represent your project. It is expected that a selection of the success story will be presented during the BDV PPP Summit.

What is a Success Story?
To participate, the success story must be provided by a project of the BDV PPP ecosystem. The success story should be provided before the deadline (see the evaluation process). There is no limitation in the number of success story per project, however, each success story must be clearly different. As a finalist, you should mandate someone from the BDV PPP ecosystem to represent your project. It is expected that a selection of the success story will be presented during the BDV PPP Summit.
CALENDAR
The project can submit their success stories from March, 21st to May 28th, 2019.
Finalists will be informed on June 10th and the prize will be awarded during the BDV PPP Summit held on Riga between June, 26th and June 28th, 2019.
PRIZE
The winning story will be presented during the BDV PPP Summit in Riga and be promoted in the BDVe/BDVA/BDV PPP Summit web site. Each finalist will get a free ticket for the EBDVF 2019 event in Helsinki.
Evaluation Process
Submission Format
The success story should be provided in “written format” providing the success story itself or the core narrative elements of the success story (max 2 pages, pdf prefered). Whenever available, associated media or material should be provided preferably as a link (eg. a video, whiteboard session, cartoon, infographics, presentation). The evaluation will be based on the full package and should be available before the deadline (see calendar).
Award committee
The committee will be composed of selected members from the BDVe project, BDVe Advisory Board, BDVA BoD, DBDVA Task forces. The list of members will be published in the BDV PPP Summit web site.
Evaluation Criteria
Here is a set of criteria (non-exhaustive) that will be used for the evaluation.
Art of Tale
Is the Success story enjoyable to consume?
Is the Success Story cool?
Will you share this success story in your favourite professional social network?
Will you share this success story in your favourite private social network?
Is the success story enjoyable by a large public?
Impact
Is the story providing clear evidence of its impact?
Quantitative
Qualitative
Does the story contain quotes of end users or impacted stakeholders?
Does the story have clearly identifiable testimonials? (eg. name, company, title)
Is the success story credible?
BDV PPP
Is it clear that the success story is enabled by BDV technology?
Is the BDV PPP value acknowledged?
Was the BDV PPP instrumental for the success story?
Production quality
Is the success story written with the adequate language (eg. syntax, grammar, tone)?
Can the story be used as is in a newspaper? on a public event?
Is the IPR properly handled (e.g.. license, usage of music documented)?
Do the story or collaterals look professional?
Obviously, we will check that committee members will not have a conflict of interest as partners or competitor.
USAGE AND CONSENT
The participants agree to give the right to use the material for dissemination or marketing purpose to BDVA and BDVe. The success story should not include confidential information.
The participants must own or sublicensed the material/IPR used in the success story (e.g. image, music) until end 2020. The individuals involved in the success story should provide written consent about the usage of their image.
