The project aims to empower smart city authorities to better support their societies with a combination of cutting-edge big data technologies. MARVEL solves societal issues by addressing the rising challenges in the Big Data Value chain, fostering open science on multimodal processing and analytics and investing in research. The project brings together 17 organisations in 12 countries across the field, engaging citizens to promote breakthrough innovation.
