The thesis can address one of the following topics

  • Multicloud from automated application deployment to creating a hybrid infrastructure (On premise cloud connected to a public cloud)
  • Automation automate infrastructure configuration and deployment in an SDN fabric
  • Analytics deploying and integrating infrastructure or application analytics solution
  • Machine learning (AI) study of ML technologies, deployment of an accelerated compute cluster and application to a real data seT
  • Currently in your last year of studies pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree (at Belgian university or high school) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Informatics, Data Science, Information Technology, MIS, Mathematics, Physics, or other equivalent degree
  • Strong academic background with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for technology, creative thinker and problem solver
  • Strong skills Communication, influencing, organization, adaptability, flexibility, and highly self-motivated
  • Technical background in
    • Full-stack web development (eg Javascript D3.js, node.js, HTML5, etc.)
    • Interactions with REST APIs and JSON / XML
    • Python programming (2.7 and 3.0)
    • Docker containers
    • Hypervisors (Vmware, Linux, Microsoft)
  • Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills, team work, ability to work in collaborative environment – all with a positive attitude
  • Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
