The DataBench team is pleased to announce that the paper “Big Data Performance Indicators” written by Barbara Pernici, Chiara Francalanci, Angela Geronazzo, Lucia Polidori, Stefano Ray, Leonardo Riva, Arne Jørgen Berre and Todor Ivanov, has been accepted for the presentation at the XV edition of the itAIS Conference.

The event will take place on October 12th – 13th, 2018 at the University of Pavia, Italy, as part of the Italian Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), also sponsored by the University Di Pavia, Springer, ECIS 2018, and ASSIOA.

The paper submitted discusses a general analytical framework for analyzing Big Data projects with both technical and business performance indicators and presents the results emerging from a first empirical analysis conducted within European companies, research centres within DataBench project and the activities of the benchmarking working group of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA).
