The health and safety of our community, speakers and attendees are utmost important. The Organisation & Programme Committee (OPC) is keeping a close eye on the situation of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and consults the official guidelines of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, the World Health Organisation, and the Portuguese government.
We hope that the crisis will be over by mid-may and that will be able to organise the event nominally. Still, we advise all attendees to book flexible tickets (note due to the situation some companies are making cost-free changes) and accommodation. It is difficult to predict the evolution of and we want to contribute to the necessary measures to contain the spread of the virus.
In this optic we will take the following measures:
1. If within the 14 days before the Summit, you make a trip within one “Clusters” where COVID-19 is actively circulating (see European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control – China, Singapore, South Korea, Iran and Italy’s area (Lombardia, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, and Piemonte) as the time of writing) or if you have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 or if you have flu-like symptoms (eg. fever, cough): we thank you for not attending the Summit and to inform us asap. We will reimburse you the registration fees.
2. If your company bans the possibility to travel. We thank you to inform us asap and we will reimburse you the registration fees.
3. If we cancel the event due to the situation or a low attendance or major outbreak. We will inform you asap and before May 1st. We will reimburse you the registration fees.
4. If we postpone the event due to the situation or a low attendance or major outbreak. We will inform you asap and before May 1st. You have the possibility to ask the reimbursement of your registration fees if the new date will not be compatible with your commitments.
During the event, please adopt a responsible behaviour and respect the guidelines from the WHO (How to protect yourself), you will find at the reception desk hydroalcoholic gel. Please note that the organisation may refuse or exclude an attendee in case of identified risk or irresponsible behaviour.
We will revise these guidelines if the situation requires it.
