One more year, the Big Data Value Association has carried out the process of assessment of existing Data Innovation Spaces all across Europe, in order to recognize them as labelled BDVA i-Spaces.
The i-Spaces is a key instrument for the BDVA to deploy their strategy of fostering Data-driven and AI innovation in Europe. In this way, the BDVA evaluates the quality of the infrastructures and provided services, sectors and projects that those initiatives are working on, the created ecosystem and its impact, and the business model and sustainability.
The labelled i-Spaces of 2018 have been announced at the European Big Data Value Forum 2018 in Vienna, the yearly event co-organized by the BDVA and the European Commission, during a ceremony where representatives of the labelled i-Spaces have collected their trophy. BDVA congratulates all the labelled i-Spaces and looks forward a fruitful collaboration to keep developing a European data and AI-based innovation ecosystem.
